It warmed my heart to see you there
Although I knew it couldn’t have been you
Now the place where you sat is just an empty space
Waiting to be filled, to be occupied
Waiting on me to find that special someone to take your place




I’ve been waiting since then
I’m still waiting
I’ll be waiting tomorrow
And the day after that
And the day after that

Everything takes time.
I’ll probably be waiting forever
But forever doesn’t exist.
That means that there is some hope.
As little as there may be
There is still hope that someday
I won’t have to be waiting anymore

This could only mean one thing tho’
…that I’m still in love with you
Even though I deny it for the greater good.

Or the day after that
How about never?

I really wish I could tell you how I feel
