So how about a Carnival Round up....

I am a Claypso fan but I find it easier to stay awake at a Claypso finals in the comfort of my home, that's why I didn't go to the show on Sunday night. Nevertheless I saw my brother playing pan with the Potential Steel Orchestra. Wooh!! Does he have a lot of energy and can he dance. It's nice to see him being invloved in something that can have a positive impact on his life. At least it keeps him off the street when no one else can. Btw he was in Pan long before the Pan against crime campaign ok..so don't be getting the wrong idea....Proud ah me lil bro man.....:D Heard that Princess Monique is the new Calypso Queen, so congrats to her.

Jouvert?? Unfortunately I got to town too late to join the hottest Jouvert band on this and every year. Nevertheless I had fun and got paint all over my skin. my friends thought that I was drunk and I'm sure many other people thought the same thing........buh I wasn't.....Is it really possible to get drunk just by drinking a bottle of Pepsi??? C'mon!!! The usual lime was aite.....I didn't see a lot of people, sadly. I won't talk about the dancing ok?......what happened at Carnival stays right where it belongs.......lol.....not like I was naughty or anything....I just know how to have clean fun........:D

Monday evening was at first BORING!!!!! I found it very difficult to stand under PO where just that morning at Jouvert a young boy had emptied his stomach on the floor. The disgusting thing about it was that a few little children were playing, falling down and dabbing their tiny hands in the remains of all that mess.....EWE!!!!! (The little kid thing happend the same morning)

Exciting was built up with every passing band and quickly fell when the band was out of ear shot...I left town a little before midnight and quicly fell asleep as soon as I hit my bed.....guess that's the only thing that can stop this energizer bunny......sitting or lying down............lol

Tuesday?......tsk tsk....Post Office was ram packed....wey all dem pickney neega come from????? Who not smoking, sexin with they clothes on. Who ain staggering shouting out "Aye yea".....I could go on and on buh let's just say under dey was terrible. (and if under dey bin hot again).....

At first it was like my High School ball all over again. I was depressed for various reasons and I depended on PO to lift my spirits but it only made it worst. But like my ball, by the end of the night I could safely say that I had fun, this time at the bank parking lot.....Now that's what Carnival is all about. Honestly I really didn't feel like dancing with any boy because they were the source of my sadness in the first place, so I just wanted to have fun all by myself. I really felt a lot better that way.

Some people were a bit surprised at the lenght of my pants....I just had to laugh....I wore that pants for a reason......c'mon is the last day of Carnival.....

I must say that this year Carnival was a lot safer. There were fewer fights than before and a lot of people actually behaved themselves, well from what I saw. There was also a major increase in the number of police on the road and that was good. They looked a bit young tho. Honestly they look like they hardly had any training.........lol...........nevertheless they were they are they were reespected.

While the crime scale was decreased I noticed that the teens are a bit more out of hand and bad behaved than before. A lot of them were smoking and having sex with their clothes on i.e. It made me wonder about the future of this nation and where out society is heading. Our youths need a lot of help and most of it must come from home. Unfortunately God is absent in many homes in SVG. I don't mind dancing but, you know, just hold da down....some people does really over do it ana........

I cannot recall tho, ever hearing Fireman Hooper's song on the road yesterday and the day before that. Then that automatically means that he is out of the question for roadmarch. LOL!!! My top 3 are Skinny's "Me head bad(on the spot)", Icon's "2knee" and Problem Child's "For life". I think that the guy who sang "Ah cah hear" has a good shot as well as Poorsah's "Hunt man".......We'll see about that later.....

My friends are planting palms at school today.....hope they're havin fun but I really couldn't make it.....My lil cousin woke up at 11:00am......c'mon.......
